  24. As I understand it, the company that has mentioned the 700MHz PowerPC type
  25. CPU has stated that it will be able to go that fast, "in theory".  In other
  26. words, it is still vapor-ware.  True milage might be well over 300MHz
  27. though.  Any such 'jump' would be nice.  Its a combination of CMOS and
  28. Bi-Polar technology.  Don't have all the info, but while CMOS requires less
  29. power or RAM or some such thing, the Bi-Polar technology is faster even if
  30. it is bloated or power-hungry.  Supposedly the combination of the two
  31. technologies will be much faster than standard CMOS PowerPC CPU's and won't
  32. require a horribly increased amount of whatever it is that it requires. :)
